BHUBANESWAR: Daringbadi recorded a minimum temperature of 3°C. Phulbani, the district headquarters town, recorded a minimum temperature of 4.5°C, a slight increase from the 3.5°C recorded on Saturday. Interior areas of the district such as Simanabadi, Kotagarh and Bramhanigaon were especially cold. Angul, had a minimum temperature of 8.5°C, six degrees below normal. Bhubaneswar minimum temperature of 11.5°C
“Similar conditions will continue in the state for a week at least,” said director of the, regional India Meteorological Centre (IMD) Sarat Chandra Sahu , moderate fog would prevail in the coastal and southern parts of the state for next three days he added.
“Cold and dry winds coming from the Himalayan region and the northwestern part of the country will lead to a further dip in the temperature.
