Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) is going to organise South Asian Conference on Nephrology and Transplantation on March 10.
Twenty eminent speakers will deliver their talk on various aspects of kidney disease its prevention to treatment, latest knowledge on dialysis and kidney transplantation. Theme of the conference is “Prevention to Intervention”.
Renowned doctors in Nephrology and Transplantation from Bangladesh, Nepal, and India will join the conference.
The main objective of the conference is to raise awareness about “amazing kidneys”. Highlight that diabetes and high blood pressure are key risk factors for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Also to educate medical professionals about their key role in detecting and reducing the risk of CKD, particularly in high risk populations, a release from KIMS informed.
