SALUTE TO THE BRAVE JAWAN PRADEEP PANDA
The CRPF jawan Pradeep Panda son of Shri Pitambar Panda , born in a middle class family of Rajgangpur. He was a resident of Bhanj Colony, Liploi in Rajgangpur. He completed his schooling from Rastriya Vidhyalaya and did his college from Dalmia college . After completing his college inspired by his elder brother Dilip Panda, who is serving in the Indian Army decided to join CRPF in the year 2006.
Since than he has proved his bravery in various operations of CRPF against terrorism. He also killed four terrorists in one of his operations in 2016.
On New Year’s Eve , when he was posted in the training centre of Lathpura area of Avantipur sector in Jammu and Kashmir, he lost his life fighting with the terrorists.

Pradeep was kind and agreeable in nature. Whenever he came home in the holidays he used to get warmly from his acquaintances including his childhood friends.
Shaheed Pradeep Panda was selected for the President’s Award for gallantry. He was to be awarded held in the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi on January 26. The family members were happy about this. When Pradeep Panda arrived here in the month of November, he told this to the family. The family members were very eager to take this award in which he had talked about going to Delhi with the whole family.
Not only the family members of martyr Pradeep Panda, is proud of his martyrdom but the whole country is proud of him. He will always be remembered in the hearts of the people of Rajgangpur.
Today he was given the Guard of Honour. Thousands of people gathered in his funeral. Eyes of every citizen was wet and their heads held high in proud.
