Bhubaneswar: Two persons were arrested by the commissionerate police on Tuesday for allegedly uploading the objectionable photographs of a woman in social media.
The accused were identified as Raju Rout (23) of Raghunathpur under Nandankanan police limits and Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak (51) of Chandrasekharpur.
Notably, the victim had lodged a complaint with Chandrasekharpur police station. Acting on it, the police had registered a case slapping charges under section 506, 354, 465, 469, 34, 66-C, 67, 67-B of IPC against the culprits.
The accused were forwarded to a local court here today.
